IAA’s Receives Top Industry Honor for Outstanding Response and Recovery Services

Westchester, Ill. — Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), a business unit of KAR Auction Services (NYSE: KAR) and the leading live and live-online salvage auto auction company, today announced that it is a winner of the 2014 DRI International Awards of Excellence Program in the category of “Response and Recovery of the Year.” The DRI International Awards of Excellence Program honors individuals and corporations who are leaders and innovators within the profession and have achieved excellence in the fields of continuity management, technology recovery (DR), and crisis management. The DRI International Awards of Excellence Program was announced at an awards ceremony held on May 20 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta during the DRI2014 Certified Professionals Conference, DRI’s annual conference and exhibition.

IAA received the Response and Recovery of the Year Award for achieving the most effective business recovery in the face of adversity over the past year.
