The Human Resources Professional of the Year Award recognizes individuals of high moral and ethical standing that have made significant contributions to their organizations during the past year in the human resources function and who have a proven track record of giving back to the community and the human resources profession. Price was presented with the award on April 20 at the Indiana Chamber’s 52nd Annual Human Resources Conference and Expo Awards Luncheon held at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis.
“The success of our organization relies on having talented and skilled employees. Our human resources department is dedicated to ensuring we have the best team in place, and are attracting and retaining high caliber professionals,” said Hallett. “I would like to congratulate Lisa on this outstanding honor on behalf of the KAR Auction Services group of companies. All of the hard work she has put into this organization, and accomplishments she has driven, make her the perfect recipient for this award.”

In 2008, she was promoted to vice president of litigation and employment counsel for ADESA’s parent company, KAR Auction Services, where she oversaw HR-related legal functions for the entire KAR group of companies. From there, she was promoted to executive vice president of human resources in 2013. Prior to joining KAR, she was an attorney for Stewart & Irwin.
