KAR Names New Leader for Autoniq
Digital Automotive Expert to Accelerate Mobile App Development and Growth
KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR) a global vehicle remarketing and technology solutions provider announces Joe Oliveri has been named vice president of the company’s Autoniq business unit. Autoniq is an industry leading provider of mobile and digital vehicle pricing and evaluation reports — offering dealers advanced, real-time vehicle reports with more comprehensive data and information than vehicle reports available to consumers.
Oliveri will be responsible for leading Autoniq’s operations and digital product development and advancing the company’s market growth strategies. He will be based in KAR’s technology and innovation hub in Chicago.
“Joe has a proven track record of successfully developing and leveraging iOS and Android mobile products for the automotive industry,” said Kayne Grau, president of Data as a Service at KAR. “His extensive digital and mobile app development experience, strategic mindset and strong leadership with a keen eye towards enhancing the user experience will help propel Autoniq as a digital leader.”
Oliveri has more than 20 years of automotive industry experience. He comes to KAR from Cars.com where he held various leadership roles including oversight of multimillion dollar initiatives such as OEM certified programs. His strong dealer relationships and understanding of their challenges led him to create solutions that enhanced their buying and selling experience. He most recently served as leader of mobile product for Cars.com — generating approximately eight million visits to the site per month.
Oliveri replaces Nicole Archer who was recently named vice president of International Business Development for KAR. In the newly developed role, Archer will help design and develop KAR Auction Services’ digital and physical presence in Europe. These leadership changes align with KAR’s strategic investments in its digital platforms and continued global expansion.
