Ivana Todorovic, Commercial Account Representative at OPENLANE gives us the scoop about the best career advice she’s ever heard, her favorite parts of our culture and more.

What has your journey at OPENLANE looked like?

I started in 2016 in a sales role at OPENLANE. I was hired as a commercial account representative, and even though I’ve been in the same position for seven years, there are new challenges every day, new OEMs, new accounts. 

What do you like most about working here? 

No two days are the same—every day is different. I never know what is going to happen the next day or what the next challenge will be. I’m always learning something new. It gives me the opportunity to explore my strengths, and find new strengths I didn’t know I necessarily had.

What is something you are most proud of during you time here?

Being trusted with challenging tasks. The more projects that I complete, the more challenging they get and I love it. In the end, hearing the customer’s positive feedback makes me want to take on more. 

What is the best career advice you’ve ever heard? 

One must learn time management for themself, but also to respect others and their time as well.  

What is your favorite part about our culture?

The flexibility. With my position, I have the freedom to create my own schedule. The flexibility allows me to be productive from home or at the office – the choice is mine. I can tailor my work environment to cater to my preferences, which enables me to work more efficiently.
