Life at OPENLANE: Q&A with Sam Moore, Compliance Manager at RDN

Sam, Compliance Manager at RDN, loves how OPENLANE’s culture helps create relationships beyond the workplace. Learn more about the skills he acquired and his achievements during his journey at OPENLANE.

What has your journey at OPENLANE looked like?

I started at OPENLANE as a Program Coordinator in 2016. Throughout my time here, I’ve taken on roles such as a Business Analyst and a Product Owner, eventually leading me to my current position as a Compliance Manager for the company.

What are you most proud of during your time here?

Undoubtedly, it’s the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired. I’ve had the ability to broaden project management skills, deepen my understanding of business strategy, and gained insights into various aspects of IT. I’ve also learned about both the automotive and repossession industry.

What do you like most about working at OPENLANE?

I love working with my team! Not only have I built a professional network but I’ve also developed meaningful personal relationships. I always look forward to seeing my coworkers both within and outside the workplace.

What would you say you like most about our culture?

Our culture allows us to work hard and build bonds with each other. It doesn’t feel like a typical boss-employee dynamic or just coworkers; it’s more like collaborating with friends.

What advice would you give to those starting at OPENLANE?

For those starting at OPENLANE, I’d say gain as much knowledge as you can and lead by example. Also, to enjoy the experience and build relationships.

What is the last show/movie you binged?

Being a huge Star Wars fan, I’ve been rewatching “The Clone Wars” series. I’m gearing up for the upcoming episodes and anticipating what’s to come next!
