OPENLANE Welcomes Grainne van Berkum as New European President

(NYSE: KAR), announces the appointment of Grainne van Berkum as the company’s new President. In her role, Grainne will take charge of managing the European and UK business, and will be responsible for driving growth across the organization’s dynamic digital marketplace, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to the company’s purpose of making wholesale easy so its customers can be more successful.
Having spent more than 30 years working in automotive and digital B2B marketplaces, Grainne has the expertise and vision needed to steer ADESA Europe to new levels of success.

Grainne has a proven track record when it comes to developing successful strategies, products and digital solutions for used vehicle remarketing. Prior to joining OPENLANE, she served as Managing Director and COO at CarNext, where she was responsible for B2B sales, sourcing strategy and managing multiple teams across Europe. Previously, she completed a long tenure at LeasePlan where she held various positions of progressive leadership and responsibility in both Ireland and the Netherlands, focusing on digital remarketing and asset value growth in over 30 countries.
