We like to do things differently at ADESA. Since launching in 2016, ADESA UK has established itself as a digital innovator. Our dedicated UPSTREAM online platform (which is in contention for the Emerging Technology Award), provides fleets, carmakers and leasing/finance companies with smart technology-led solutions that meet their de-fleeting needs.
While other players consider a move to a digital remarketing model, ADESA UK is already dedicated to designing faster, smarter and easier ways to reshape the automotive industry. Stock is presented online as soon as it is de-fleeted, without incurring the delays and additional costs associated with the traditional “downstream” physical auction process.
Harnessing AI to transform remarketing
Our technology-led approach is now being used to disrupt lengthy mainstream turnaround times and create a more seamless de-fleeting solution for our customers.
This process has traditionally taken weeks, incurring book drops, inspection fees and storage charges, but we have reduced it to a matter of hours.

ADESA IVI is transforming the used vehicle remarketing process. The deployment of artificial intelligence, making the assessing, selling and buying process faster, easier and smarter.
The traditional third-party inspection process is slow and costly; with IVI we empower drivers to carry out their own inspection of end-of-contract vehicles using a smartphone or tablet, with the ability to post the car on our UPSTREAM platform within hours of being appraised.
ADESA IVI is fulfilling a critical need for the finance, fleet and leasing sectors by taking time and costs out of the remarketing process, while producing more accurate appraisals.
